FACE IT — THE GREEN EYE

There’s something about this eye that makes me stop.

In Chinese face reading, the eyes are known as the Inspector Officer — the part of the face traditionally associated with observation, awareness and the spirit behind the person.

And this isn't an eye I'd read as simply “pretty.”

I would look at the clarity, openness, shape and the way the eye holds your attention.

There is an observant quality here.

You may notice more than you let people know.

You can sit quietly in a room and pick up on the atmosphere before anyone has actually said much.

And here's the interesting part…

People may think you're easier to read than you actually are.

Your eyes can give people a doorway in — but that doesn't mean you've given them the whole story.

There is also a tendency to watch first and decide second.

You don't necessarily need to be the loudest person in the room.

You may be the person quietly noticing:

Who's genuine?

Who's performing?

What's actually being said?

And what isn't being said?

That's where this eye becomes interesting.

But remember — in traditional face reading, one feature isn't the whole face. The eyes are read together with the brows, nose, cheeks, mouth and overall facial structure.

So…

What would your eyes say if someone knew how to read them?
