THE ROAD HAS A WAY OF TELLING YOU THINGS…
Some places make you stop.
Not because there’s something to see…
but because there’s suddenly nothing distracting you from yourself.
Out here around Woomera and Lake Hart, the landscape feels enormous. The salt, the red earth, the endless sky and that strange feeling of being very small in a very big Country.
And somewhere between the kilometres, the dust and the silence, I started connecting a few dots.
The things I’ve been learning.
The stories I’ve been collecting.
The way flowers speak through colour, shape, season and place.
The way we notice something in nature… and somehow it makes us notice something in ourselves.
Maybe that’s what this road trip has really been about.
Not just getting somewhere.
Noticing.
And now I’m looking at my upcoming live event in Western Australia a little differently.
Because perhaps the journey was part of the lesson all along.
I’m not going to tell you exactly where those dots lead yet.
Keep a lid on it.
